Connecticut Microwave 707  series loads are made in accordance with MIL-D 3954   and incorporate

 integral  cooling fins.  Although these units are designed to be used under conditions of natural convection , the power rating can be increased up to twice the listed rating by the use of forced air and appropriate baffling. (air flow of approximately 40cfm per kw of total power)

 These loads may be mounted vertically, or horizontally and are  equipped with mounting holes in the rear plate to facilitate installation.

In response to new testing requirements Connecticut Microwave has developed broadband Mismatches of up 50 kW. They are available with connectors up to EIA 6 1/8" flanges.

Loads In the 727 series utilize a strong cylindrical aluminum high.pressure-tight case. Internally, extruded transverse aluminum cooling fins, formed as an integral part of the dummy load jacket, effectively carry the heat into the liquid flow path to provide increased heat transfer efficiency. The loads may be operated either vertically or horizontally and are equipped with mounting holes conveniently located in back plate to permit easy installation. The dissipative material is high-temperature ceramic fully qualified and approved to M I L-D.3954., Connecticut Microwave Waveguide Dummy Loads loads are made in accordance with MIL-D 3954
